Down Here

Birds throw their tail
Feathers up
Bob heads
To the rhythm
Flow’n from their mouth
Circl’n females for the chance

Down Here

Two birds fight for A
Thick built loving
Female
Like two bumbs
Fighting over a forty

Down Here

Bodies laying in the
Shade of the trees
Blend’n in with leaves
Camouflaged by their
Own loneliness

Down Here

The sun rises from the mountains
& land in the ocean
the first spark draws the
rising of heads like
the place was filled
with human sized
morning glories

Down Here

Children play in the
Sand and roll in
The grass
A football is caught
The BBQ pit flames
Till the green glow

Down Here

The Moon lights
The chattering
People that have
Gathered to camp
Without a permit

Down Here

Is the start and finish
Of a charity walk
That competes
With locals of the land
Not the Island
For free drinks and food
Passed out to contestants

Down Here

The climate is
Per feet
For striving nature
Creatures and all
Live with little

Shelter

Hard Rain-

Bus stop-

Sunny Day-

Tree Trunk-

Down Here

They know how to survive
No need for sun block
Water bills

Rent

Homeless ‘n Happy?

Or Homeless

Down Here

People blindly
Run circles passing
These people without
Knowing a name
The old Blackman on the bench
Maybe named Ken
Or Kenneth
John may be the one sound asleep
‘n nick may be a Vietnam Vet
ruffing it without his weapon
n what is
the name of the family under
the large tree?
Is it the Thompson’s, Henderson’s, Kawasaki’s

Are they even homeless?

Then why are they here Daily?

Down Here

People become blind
To what is always seen
Blind to the facts
That some one is starving
Blind to the fact
There are thousands
One pay check from
Becoming another unseen unknown person
Sleeping in Ala Moana Park
